TeamSort

Terms of Service

Short version: be reasonable, the service is provided as-is, and you own what you put in it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using TeamSort you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

TeamSort lets you create a list, share a link, and have a group rank it. Free polls need no account, stay open for 24 hours and accept up to 10 voters. Paid plans — a monthly or yearly subscription, a one-time lifetime purchase, or a one-time 1-Month Pass — remove those limits and add features such as permanent polls, CSV export and drafts. The current plans and prices are always on the pricing page.

Accounts are identified by email address and signed in with a magic link or Google. Keep poll links private if the poll is: anyone who has a link can open the poll and vote, and results may be visible to voters depending on the poll's settings.

4. Paid plans

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, which you can do at any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Polls made permanent while you were on a paid plan stay permanent if it ends. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us.

5. Your content

You own the polls, items, images and other content you put into TeamSort. You give us the licence we need to host, display, email and archive that content so the service works as described. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, infringing or harmful; we may remove content or close polls that break these rules.

6. Acceptable use

Do not scrape other people's polls, interfere with the service, or abuse the public API — it is rate limited, and sustained abuse may be blocked. Automated use of the API for its intended purpose (drafting a poll for a person) is welcome; see the developer documentation.

7. Disclaimer

TeamSort is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamSort and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data or profit, arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published here with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: see the contact page. The privacy policy explains how we handle data.
